Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival at Nature’s Nest.  Check in followed by Goan buffet lunch.

Evening trail will begin at 4.00 pm an will lead to Bhgwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary around the resort to look for macro life and one of the highlights of the trip Hump Nosed Pit Viper.  Night trail will be held post dinner.  Malabar Tree Toad, Skittering frogs, Amboli Bush frog…

Before the trail begins, one can explore the campus around which is located very next to Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife and has mixed plantation.  The campus has potential for lots of macro life including Dracos which can be regularly spotted on the coconut trees in the property

Day 2: 

AM: Visit Bondla Widlife Sanctuary for birding to see some of the species specific to the mosoons like the Slaty legged Crake, Indian Pitta, Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher.

PM:Evening to Tambdi Surla Waterfall

One also gets to visit the rock carved, 13th Century temple during this trek.  Visit to Tambdi Surla forests of the BMWLS.  This place is famous for the rock carved 13th Century temple and equally famous for King Cobra Sightings.  Vine snakes, Malabar Pit viper, Hump-nosed Pit Viper, Bamboo Pit Viper, Buff striped Keelback.

Day 3

AM: You will trek to the Ghunghurdo Waterfall in Mhadei Sildlife Sanctuary. The drive is through the picturesque Chorla Ghats.

PM: Trail in Mhadei Wildlife Sanctuary forests.  High chances of Brown Vine Snake, Shieldtails, Coral Snakes.

Day 4

AM: Trek to Dudhsagar Waterfall in Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary

One of the most Beautiful and one of the highest Waterfalls in India.  The trek is along the Railway line passing through the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary.  One will either have to trek back or hitchhike on a goods train.

This will be followed by departure.
